We are delighted to present our first major exhibition 'The Artist as Jeweller: Interpreting Stone' in our new home at 45 Conduit Street from 21st November to 23rd December with preview drinks from 6-8pm on Wednesday 20th November.
In the art world, materials of no intrinsic worth are valued for their artistic merit. For jewellery, the opposite has historically been true. 'Interpreting Stone' presents a series of jewels by 20th century and contemporary artists which, taking non precious materials as their basis, explore this idea.
We will be presenting specially commissioned pieces by Claude Lalanne, Tim Noble and Sue Webster, Rob Wynne, Sophia Vari, Michael Craig Martin, William Ehrlich and Danny Moynihan with Alex Jefford.
