The ‘Naja Pendant’ is conceived in several forms, and realised in both silver and vermeil. ‘Freehand Naja’ is an embrace of the imperfect human hand, a departure from Arad’s reliance upon computers and rapid manufacturing. Drawn in pencil, each circle is rendered by the goldsmith based on Arad’s free-hand pencil sketch. As a result, the final work is irregular, fluid and organic.
