In this collaboration with Stella McCartney, Koon’s platinum ‘Rabbit’ pendant recalls its larger counterpart from Koon’s 'Statuary’ series. A multifaceted and chameleon-like symbol, ‘Rabbit’ has ever changing meaning. Encased in a small wooden crate, and elaborately sealed in an acrylic case, Koon’s exploration of appropriation and parody is ever present, a commentary on unlimited consumption in the 21st century.
