Building upon his seminal explorations of form and function, Jones’ Bodyline series is a continuation of his sculptural practice and his preoccupation with the female form. In this series the female figure emerges in miniature cut outs, as earrings, necklaces, and brooches. The works therefore playfully adorn and depict the female form simultaneously, and can be displayed as sculpture independent of their function as personal adornment.
