Turk’s ‘Ten Commandments Apple Core’ pendant follows in his tradition of elevating the ordinary and discarded to the precious and valued. In 18k gold and silver, like his ceremonial biscuit he balances the precious medium with the strong contrast of his partially eaten subject. Through this balance, his apple core pendant explores the value of the transient objects most of us simply discard.
