The luminous beauty of the natural world inspires Hanif’s practice and the forms of her unique, sculptural work. DILHAN has at its heart a passion for light, colour and movement. This elegant and enigmatic collection of high jewellery draws inspiration from forms glimpsed in nature – the light reflecting on the ever-changing surface of the sea; a sand dune’s voluptuous, organic curve. Volumes emerge and vacillate, forms are seen and then dissipate in a moment.
All DILHAN pieces are handmade, merging traditional techniques of wax and stone carving with new technologies to create immaculate and carefully conceived jewellery – wearable pieces of art. This collection of rings, bracelets, earrings and pendants is born from a collaboration of workshops and craftspeople, with inherited knowledge and innovative techniques combining to ensure a one-of-a-kind fit between gemstone, setting and wearer.
